Merch Size Guide
Every Axolotl Planet garment is printed to order on a specific blank, so fit varies between an adult tee, a youth hoodie and a toddler tee. The measurements below come straight from the manufacturer of each blank. They describe the garment laid flat, not your body.
How to use these charts
The most reliable way to pick a size is to measure a shirt you already own and like the fit of, then match it to the chart. Lay it flat, smooth out the wrinkles, and measure:
- Length: from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
- Width: straight across the garment one inch below the armhole, seam to seam. This is the flat width, so do not double it. A 20 inch width is roughly a 40 inch chest.
- Sleeve length: from the center back of the collar to the end of the sleeve.
If you are between two sizes, size up on hoodies and sweatshirts and stay true to size on tees. Youth and toddler sizes run smaller than adult sizes of the same letter, so check the youth chart rather than assuming.
