December is our busiest month of the year, and winter weather across the U.S. means we take extra care to ship your axolotl safely. To avoid weekend delays and ensure the fastest, safest delivery, we follow a special holiday shipping schedule for December.

Below is our official December schedule, including our final shipping cutoff before Christmas and our return to normal operations in January.

🗓 December Shipping Schedule

We ship only on Mondays and Tuesdays in December.

❤️ Orders placed Tuesday through Sunday

→ Ship the upcoming Monday

Any order placed Tuesday morning through Sunday night will ship the upcoming Monday when our full team is available.

💙 Orders placed on Monday

→ Ship the upcoming Tuesday

Orders placed on Monday ship the very next day, Tuesday.
Tuesday is reserved only for Monday’s orders.

🎁 Holiday Week Shipping Cutoff

To ensure your axolotl does not get stuck in transit during Christmas week, please note the following:

Orders placed after 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025

→ Will be shipped on Monday, December 29, 2025

This cutoff prevents live animals from sitting in carrier facilities during the Christmas holiday.

After December 29

Our next shipping day will be:

➡️ Monday, January 5, 2026

This is when normal operations will fully resume.
