Golden Albino Axolotl

Due to a lack of melanophores, Golden Albino Axolotls develop a profound gold coloration covering their entire body. Light-reflecting plates known as “iridophores” generate a stunning, bright-gold/yellow iridescence sporadically placed all around their body and gills in differing intensities. As a prominent trait among all Albino Axolotls, these are also paired with either red or transparent eyes.
